GRAPE VARIETIES
Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella
WINEMAKING
Crushing-destemming of the grapes.
Fermentation temperature between 22°-28°C.
Maceration time: 10 days.
Second fermentation on the lees of Recioto and Amarone.
Aged in oak barrels for 9 months.
FOOD PAIRING
Great with rich appetizers and perfect with roasted meats and barbeque.
In winter, it is the ideal wine for warm and pleasant dinners with friends.
Best served at 16°-18°C.
SENSORY PROPERTIES
Intense ruby red colour.
The pronounced bouquet is rich with complex hints of the aromas and flavours of Amarone: intense plum, Maraschino cherry, dark berries, cinnamon and licorice.
On the palate, it is dry, round, warm and velvety.
Well balanced.
