Vinitaly was full of surprises for La Collina dei Ciliegi, which has improved its stand for this edition, in order to host friends and importers and to taste our wines in an elegant, bigger and more comfortable place. A perfect place to taste and to discover the last new-born of the family: l’Olio of la Collina dei Ciliegi, DOP Valpolicella, made with the two cultivars Grignano and Favarol.
During the four days of Vinitaly many guests and friends came to visit us at the stand, including the American Ambassador Philip T. Reeker, Daniele Massaro, Giuseppe Baresi, Alberto Malesani, Christian Roger, Luigi Cremona, Lorenza Vitali and the whole BluVolley team of Verona.
La Collina dei Ciliegi has also contributed to organised “Vinitaly and the city” and other events between Verona and the close city of Bardolino. Aperitifs at Enoteca Zero 7 in collaboration with la Giuva and Collet : a tasting of great wines, whose main representatives are Amarone e Valpolicella Ripasso, with the participation of two Maserati with la Collina dei Ciliegi’s logo. A last day with a bang!
After the fair, we are currently waiting for the results of the competition “Verona Wine Top”, where l’Amarone 2013 is competing. It has already been awarded with Corona at Vinibuoni d’Italia, with Cinque Grappoli at Bibenda, with the Bronze Medal at Decanter 2016, with the Bronze Medal at International Wine Challenge 2017 and with Berliner Gold at Berliner Wein Trophy 2017. We are very confident about a new result for this amazing wine.
The 51st edition of Vinitaly, which took place in March 9-12 in Verona, has seen a great number of visitors: 128,000 people coming from 142 different Countries, more than 4,000 exhibitors, 400 events, including seminars, meetings, and training courses. Vinitaly confirms itself as the most important Italian wine fair, a magnet for buyers and importers coming from all over the world, with two new entries: Panama and Senegal.
